New Baby
I happy to announce that my partner and I are expecting a baby in July, my due date
is the 28th which is during the summer holidays so hopefully classes will be able
to run as usual. As most of you are aware though babies will arrive when they are
ready so I am very lucky to have Kelly on standby to teach any classes that I need
covering.
Hot Steps Dance Show 2008
Our 2008 show will be held in Queen Marys College on Saturday 20th September.
Guildford Festival of Dance 2008
We will be entering Guilford Festival of Dance in April 2008.
Summer School 2007
We held our first summer school in September 2007. This involved children coming
along for a week to take part in many styles of dance and performing and going to
see a musical. We had classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Drama and costume designing
which the children all thoroughly enjoyed.

Hair Show 2007
Hot Steps were very lucky to be asked to perform in Festival place for Studio 55’s
annual hair fashion show. I took along 3 of my girls to perform their trio lyrical
dance that they had spent months practising and perfecting. They had a very fun
day, being treated like little princesses by all the people that work at the salon
and were very excited and a little nervous about performing in the town centre.
All three girls did extremely well and danced beautifully. They must have felt like
celebrities afterwards as many people approached us and congratulated them on how
well they performed.
